DVD Program
A Program Worth Experiencing
A DVD has been produced to enhance the visit of the Saur Bible or framed Old and New Testament pages from a badly damaged one. It has a pictorial biography of Christopher Saur, Jr., interviews with Brethren scholars about what the Bible meant to early Brethren, a colonial hymn on the Bible, aids for hearing God in the Bible and testimonies by Brethren today about the Bible's importance in their lives. This DVD is more than information on Brethren history. A Challenge Sheet at the end of the program offers practical steps for making the Bible more important in one's life today. A handbook that can be downloaded and duplicated will enhance the program.

quantity) at info@biblevisit.com.
Districts distributing it widely are asked to order in bulk. In addition, you are
requested to send a contribution of any amount to: Anniversary Committee, c/o
Church of the Brethren Annual Conference, 500 Main St., PO Box 720, New Windsor,
MD 21776-0720. Indicate on your check that it is for the "Bible Visit
DVD". Contributions will assist the Committee in its plans for
celebrating the 300th anniversary. 
The DVD has been created with the assistance of professionals, at the expense of individuals who have a deep appreciation for Brethren history and a love for the Bible. It is not an official production of either the Church of the Brethren or its Anniversary Committee. The Anniversary Committee, however, has used the DVD and placed information about the Bible Visit on its web site.
This program was produced to encourage your spiritual growth and may be shown in a variety of settings. Four detailed ways of using it are offered on the web site under "Program Options". It can be presented as 1) a single hour, 2) two hour programs in sequence, 3) four programs in sequence, or 4) a 90 minute single program. This DVD program has been tested in seven churches in the Mid-Atlantic District of the Church of the Brethren. Among the written comments were:
